Dr. Muneera Al-Fadala received a Bachelor of Veterinary Medical Science (B.V.Sc) with honors) from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Cairo University, Egypt, in May 2012, through a National Scholarship from the Ministry of Environment, Qatar.
After working in various capacities within the Department of Animal Resources, she transferred as Manager of the Pet's Clinic & Cats Control Unit with the Animal Resource Department for 2 years. She has served as the designated Focal Point for the World Organisation for Animal Health – OIE, for Animal Welfare in Qatar, for 3 years and is an FEI* Permitted Treatment Veterinarian.
Dr. Al-Fadala joined Equine Veterinary Medical Center in 2015. Her interest has focused on equine veterinary medicine, specifically equine surgery. Her professional goal is to become board certified in equine surgery, and through her training to help advance the quality and standards of veterinary medicine in Qatar.
She hopes that by bringing specialized expertise back to the Middle East, she will serve as a role model for women in the region to pursue higher education and a professional career in veterinary medicine.
